His training at the Victorian College of the Arts (Acting) and the University of Adelaide underpins a career built on range, collaboration and a strong feel for character and dialogue.
Davies has made a significant contribution to television drama. He wrote for the long-running series Neighbours from 1997 to 2010, earning an Australian Writers’ Guild Award nomination in 2009 for Best Episode in a Television Serial. His first draft novelized version of the material also secured a 2026 Varuna Residential Writing Fellowship. He is also developing the romantic comedy feature film Bringing up Beauty for Tama Films.
